Best of Denmark.
Two Danish streets, one shared instinct. In Aarhus, Jægergårdsgade in Frederiksbjerg lines up natural wine bars and specialty coffee on a calm, bike-paced stretch south of the center. In Copenhagen, Nørrebrogade and Jægersborggade in Nørrebro do the same thing louder, with shawarma counters next to Nordic roasters and picnickers sprawled in Assistens Cemetery. Both neighborhoods bet on density over polish. One whispers it on Saturday mornings at Ingerslev Torv. The other argues it over a pilsner at 1am.
