Little River The pick
Little River won because the cool here is still owned by the people making it. Nobody sold a ticket to walk these blocks. The record shop is Technique Records, run by people who care what you leave with. The kitchens, Ogawa, Conventillo, Gaucho Ranch, are small operators betting on themselves, not brands planting flags. When Wynwood's rents forced its artists out, this is where a lot of them landed, and the neighborhood absorbed them without turning into a theme park. Little Haiti has deeper roots and Allapattah has bigger museums, but Little River has the balance right now: real work, real food, and no velvet rope in sight.
