Sheung Wan / PoHo The pick
Sheung Wan wins because it does everything the others do, in one walkable slope. Sham Shui Po has the grit, Sai Ying Pun has the wine, Tai Hang has the village feel. Sheung Wan has all three plus a design scene none of them can touch. You can browse Lily Bookshop, buy a dress at Susanna Soo's atelier, eat at Yardbird or Mora, and end the night at CORKS, all within ten minutes on foot. The gentrification here happened a decade ago and settled into something durable. Nobody is fighting over it anymore. This is a finished argument, and the neighborhood won.
