Canggu is where every third person on a scooter has a laptop in their bag and a sunset plan. Jalan Batu Bolong runs through it all, lined with surf shops, coffee roasters, and restaurants that wouldn't look out of place in East London. It's loud, it's chaotic, it smells like nag champa and fried tempeh, and somehow it works.

Crate Cafe has served Canggu's all-day breakfast since 2014, from before the roasters arrived; Blacklist Coffee chose the same strip for its first outpost beyond Australia.
